Chiropractic
Chiropractic care is a hands-on healing technique that allows your body to heal naturally without the use of drugs or surgery. Your nervous system controls and coordinates all functions throughout the body, including your thoughts, memory, muscles, glands and organs. The adjustments performed by a chiropractor decreases nerve interference in the spinal nerve, thus allowing your full potential to be expressed. This will maximize your healing ability and improve your function. The care is effective, safe and gentle for the entire family.

Deep Tissue Massage
We offer deep tissue massage in our office intended to release trigger points, improve range of motion, and improve balance. Sessions typically are up to 30 minutes in duration. We utilize Proprioceptive Neuro-Facilitation as well as trigger point therapy.

Extremity Adjustments
Extremity adjustments are similar to spinal adjustment accept they are not intended to improve nerve function, instead the primary goal is to restore the joint to a normal range of motion, improve function, and decrease pain and inflammation. Extremity adjustments commonly performed my Dr. LaVallee are upon the knees, toes, ankles, hips, fingers, wrists, elbows and shoulders.

Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy is the therapeutic application of agents to induce a physiological response in the body, it enhances or supports the chiropractic adjustment in an effort to normalize the body's natural processes and to halt and reverse tissue disease.
Forms of Physiotherapy offered in our office:
Motorized Mechanical Traction: Motorized massage chairs and spinolator tables that loosens adhesions and maintains ligament and muscle tone. Typically for 15 minutes. Intersegmental traction therapy helps increase and restore elasticity and motion to the spine which improves the circulation of spinal fluids and increases blood flow and oxygen to the discs, ligaments and muscles. The chairs have roller type cams that gently travel the length of the spine stretching, percussing and massaging the spine and stretching ligaments and muscles while the patient is comfortable and relaxed. The result is improved balance, strength, mobility and a relaxed patient.

Hydrotherapy: Dry water massage system provides a warm (96 degrees F.) bed of adjustable massaging high powered jets that provide a full-body, soothing massage relieving muscle tension, aches and stress. Research studies have documented the physical, mental and emotional benefits of levels and metabolism, reducing blood pressure and increasing lymphatic drainage.
